Caterpillar and Luck Stone have expanded their supply partnership to include autonomous technology for two fleets of Cat 775 trucks at Boscobel and Bealeton plants. This marks the first time this solution has been deployed on the Cat 775 model.

Luck Stone's Vice-President of Engineering and Operations, Travis Chewning, said autonomy is creating a safer workplace that improves consistency for customers and gives associates opportunities to develop new skills as their industry continues to evolve.

The expansion follows 18 months of autonomous hauling support at Luck Stone's Bull Run quarry, where Caterpillar trucks have moved over 3.5 million tonnes since November 2024.
