Caterpillar Bolsters Regional Presence with John Fabick Tractor Acquisition
Caterpillar Inc., a leading manufacturer of construction and mining equipment, has announced its plan to acquire John Fabick Tractor Company, a long-standing dealer operating across portions of Missouri, Illinois, Wisconsin, and Michigan's Upper Peninsula.
The transaction involves a dealership with over 100 years of experience in its service territory. Fabick operates 37 locations across the region, providing customers with a wide range of products and services.
Caterpillar Chairman and CEO Joe Creed stated that the company shares a common mission with Cat dealers to solve their customers' toughest challenges. He expressed Caterpillar's enthusiasm for continuing to work with the Fabick team to build on a century of success and drive long-term growth.
The acquisition is subject to approval by regulatory authorities and customary closing conditions, with Caterpillar expecting the transaction to close within 30 days.
