Caterpillar has expanded its global revolving credit facilities in a move aimed at enhancing funding flexibility. The company established a new unsecured 364-day revolving credit facility of up to $3.5 billion, which includes local currency addendums that allow borrowing in pounds sterling, euros, and Japanese yen.

The updated credit arrangements replace a similar facility set up in August 2025 and also amend and extend Caterpillar's three-year and five-year unsecured revolving credit facilities to August 27, 2029, and August 27, 2031, respectively. The aggregate commitments for these facilities are $3.0 billion and $5.0 billion.

The new credit arrangements impose financial covenants on consolidated net worth, interest coverage, and leverage, requiring a minimum consolidated net worth of $9 billion at Cat Financial. This is expected to support Caterpillar's credit profile and access to global banking partners.
