Caterpillar Pours $1 Billion into NC Manufacturing
Caterpillar is expanding its manufacturing capacity in North Carolina with a $1 billion investment.
The equipment giant plans to build a new facility in Sanford, North Carolina, which will increase production of compact track loaders and telehandlers.
'With demand for compact equipment on the rise, we are increasing our investment to better support this expanding customer segment,' said Caterpillar Construction Industries Group President Rod Shurman.
