Caterpillar Receives Mixed Ratings from Analysts
Caterpillar (CAT) has maintained its Hold rating from Bernstein analyst Chad Dillard, who set a price target of $1,002.00.
Dillard covers the Industrials sector and has an average return of 8.0% on recommended stocks, with a success rate of 61.34%, according to TipRanks.
This is not the only Hold rating for Caterpillar; Barclays’s Adam Seiden also maintained a Hold in his report from September 16. However, Bank of America Securities took a different stance on September 18, maintaining a Buy rating.
The company's latest earnings release showed revenue of $20.54 billion and net profit of $3.59 billion for the quarter ending June 30. In comparison to last year, this represents an increase in both categories.
