Caterpillar, a Texas-based company, reported record sales and revenue of $20.5 billion in the second quarter, driven by strong demand for bulldozers, power generators, and other industrial equipment.

The company's power and energy segment saw significant growth, with sales reaching $8.2 billion and a 17% increase from last year. Power generation retail sales grew 72% over last year, with customers placing orders through 2030.

Caterpillar CEO Joseph Creed said there are constant customer discussions about artificial intelligence demand, but 'no one is slowing down at the moment.'
