Caterpillar Set to Acquire John Fabick Tractor Company

Caterpillar Inc., a leading manufacturer of heavy machinery and equipment, has agreed to acquire John Fabick Tractor Company, a Cat dealer based in parts of Missouri, Illinois, all of Wisconsin, and Michigan's Upper Peninsula.

The acquisition is expected to close within 30 days after regulatory approval. This deal gives Caterpillar direct control over a long-standing dealer with more than 100 years of customer relationships.

Caterpillar's second-quarter sales and revenues rose 24.00 percent year over year to USD 20.50 billion, with adjusted profit per share increasing 73.00 percent to USD 8.17.
