Caterpillar Unveils Digital Solutions for Manufacturing Challenges

Caterpillar Inc. has marked Manufacturing Month by unveiling its new Building the Future Gallery at the Visitors Center in Downtown Peoria.

The exhibit focuses on Cat's digital solutions to common manufacturing issues, including safety, productivity, and labor shortages.

One of the features highlighted is a simulator using AI-enabled technology aimed at reducing accidents and improving operator awareness.

The gallery also showcases Caterpillar's development of remote-control and autonomous machinery, with real-time displays of worksites around the world.
