CCEP Steps Up Share Buybacks with $1.12 Billion Repurchase
Coca-Cola Europacific Partners (CCEP) has resumed its share buyback program, purchasing €1 billion worth of shares. Between September 21 and 25, the company acquired 180,000 ordinary shares on U.S. trading venues and 73,196 ordinary shares on London venues from Goldman Sachs entities.
The repurchased shares will be cancelled, effectively reducing CCEP's share count and returning capital to shareholders. This move is part of a previously announced program under which the company plans to buy back up to €1 billion of its ordinary shares in aggregate.
CCEP's management has emphasized its focus on capital allocation, which may support earnings per share and share price performance. As a result, CCEP continues to position itself as a disciplined, shareholder-focused blue-chip beverage bottler.
