Champaign Police Pursue Power Tool Thieves
Champaign Police in Illinois are seeking help to catch two suspects accused of stealing power tools from Home Depot on multiple occasions.
The incidents occurred at the store located on Bloomington Road, where the thieves would remove DeWalt and Milwaukee brand tools from their boxes, conceal them in bags or buckets, and leave without paying.
According to officials, one of the suspects was responsible for stealing over $1,300 worth of tools and batteries on August 8th. They described the suspects as younger Black males with medium-length dreadlocks.
