Chapek Trades Disney Drama for Private Equity Life

Four years after his departure from Disney, Bob Chapek is building a new career in private equity. The former CEO of Walt Disney Co., who was unceremoniously fired in 2022, has been advising closely held businesses like NinjaTech AI and Foundry Commercial.

Chapek, now 67, is open to raising a private equity fund to acquire new companies and has even been nominated for a board seat at Vail Resorts Inc. by an activist shareholder.

Since his departure from Disney, Chapek has written a memoir that hits shelves on September 29.
