Chase Introduces Data Security Center for Mobile App Users
JPMorgan Chase has introduced its Data Security Center to give customers control over their financial data sharing with third-party apps.
Available through the Chase Mobile app, customers can see connected apps, adjust access duration, unlink apps, and perform other actions in one place.
The center also offers frequently asked questions on third-party data sharing, providing customers with a clear understanding of what's happening to their data.
'Customers should be in control of their financial data,' said Melissa Feldsher, head of payments, trust and security, and open banking at Chase. 'The Data Security Center empowers customers to understand what's connected, see what information is being shared, and make informed decisions about those connections over time.'
The introduction of the Data Security Center marks a significant step in giving customers greater control over their financial data, aligning with Feldsher's statement that customers should be 'in control of their financial data.'
