ChatGPT Plugins Get Multi-Account Support

OpenAI has rolled out multi-account support for its ChatGPT and Codex plugins. Users can now connect multiple Gmail and Google Calendar accounts to each plugin, making it easier to manage personal and work life in one platform.

The new feature allows users to add a second or third account by clicking the gear icon on an already connected plugin. This means that users can have one conversation using their personal Gmail account while another relies on their work account for professional tasks.

ChatGPT's plugins can also pull relevant information from multiple connected accounts, giving it a broader picture of the user's communications and schedule. However, OpenAI notes that connected accounts are subject to app permissions and workspace controls, which may affect availability depending on the user's plan or administrator settings.
