Cheeseburger Chains Go Wild with Deals for National Cheeseburger Day
Today is National Cheeseburger Day, and several fast food chains are celebrating by offering special deals. McDonald's is giving out free Double Cheeseburgers with a minimum $1 purchase at participating locations, exclusively through their app for MyMcDonald's Rewards members. The offer is valid once per person.
Burger King is also getting in on the action, offering a free bacon cheeseburger with a minimum $3 purchase. This deal is available to Royal Perks members in the App or online.
Other chains, such as Smashburger and Five Guys, are offering loyalty discounts or buy-one-get-one-free deals. Red Robin is giving away 400 digital gift cards by having customers comment on their National Cheeseburger Day post on Instagram or Facebook and fill out a form. Winners will be contacted within 30 days.
Applebee's and Ruby Tuesday are also participating, with Applebee's offering a classic cheeseburger and fries for $8.99 at participating locations, and Ruby Tuesday lowering its price to $6.99 while dining in or ordering online. Options include the American Smashed Burger, Ruby's Cheeseburger, and plant-based options.
