Chevron and IIT Madras Unveil Energy Tech Incubator for Emerging Innovators
Chevron ENGINE and IIT Madras have launched the Chevron-IITM Energy Technology Incubation program to support early-stage innovators, researchers, and social entrepreneurs.
The program focuses on technology-led solutions for energy infrastructure, carbon utilisation, circular economy, and resource efficiency in the energy sector.
Chevron will contribute industry expertise, technical mentorship, employee volunteering, and opportunities for engagement with innovators, while IIT Madras will provide access to its research, innovation, and incubation ecosystem.
Ashwin Mahalingam, Dean (Alumni and Corporate Relations), IIT Madras, stated that 'Through the Chevron-IITM Energy Technology Incubation program, we hope to collaboratively provide innovators with access to mentorship, technical expertise and a strong innovation ecosystem to help translate promising ideas into practical solutions.'
