A U.S. official has revealed that oil giant Chevron is expected to announce its plans to expand operations in Venezuela, with company officials and Energy Secretary Chris Wright set to visit the country on Wednesday.
The new investment will be formally unveiled during their visit, according to the official, who spoke under condition of anonymity due to White House guidelines for the call.
