Chevron Eyes Expanded Operations in Egypt Amid Growing Regional Interest

The company recently met with Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly during the United Nations General Assembly to discuss its plans. Madbouly praised Chevron's experience and significant presence in the Eastern Mediterranean.
The prime minister expressed Egypt's interest in strengthening its partnership with Chevron, given the government incentives available for exploration activities. He stated that expanding investment, drilling, and exploration could help secure additional natural gas supplies for Egypt.
