Chevron Names Jeff Gustavson as New CFO Starting 2027

Chevron Corporation has announced key leadership changes effective January 1, 2027. Jeff B. Gustavson, who joined Chevron in 1999, will take over as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). He will receive an annual base salary of $1,000,000 and a 110% target bonus under the Chevron Incentive Plan.

Mark A. Nelson, currently Vice Chairman and Executive Vice President of Oil, Products & Gas, will retain his role as Vice Chairman with additional responsibilities for Strategy and Business Development. Eimear P. Bonner, the current CFO, will transition to President of Oil, Products & Gas.

These changes were approved by the Board of Directors on September 30, 2026, and will take effect at the start of 2027. The appointments aim to streamline leadership and ensure continuity in Chevron's financial and operational strategies.
