Chevron Offers Flexible Fuel Options for Fleets Looking to Reduce Carbon Intensity
Chevron offers a range of fuel options to help fleets lower their lifecycle carbon intensity. According to Dave Slade, principal biofuels scientist at Chevron, diversifying fuel sources is key to flexibility and meeting lower-carbon goals.
Chevron's portfolio includes petroleum diesel, biodiesel, renewable diesel, compressed natural gas (CNG), renewable natural gas (RNG), and lubricants. The company provides tailored fuel solutions for its customers and collaborates with industry partners like Cummins and Optimus Technologies to offer a range of fuel options.
Chevron's CNG option offers price stability compared to petroleum fuels, which can experience significant price swings due to global supply disruptions and commodity cycles. The company has also developed a demo program for fleets to test CNG technology firsthand, with up to 18 days of use and a fueling card to cover costs.
