Chevron has entered into a 20-year energy supply agreement with Microsoft to power its AI data centers. The deal, called Project Kilby, will use Chevron's natural gas capabilities and integrate carbon capture and renewable power over time.

This partnership positions Chevron as a dedicated energy partner for at least one major AI hyperscaler, focusing on large-scale mission-critical power infrastructure.

Chevron aims to use this agreement as a template to seek additional long-term energy contracts with technology companies across the United States.
