Chevron Reaffirms Commitment to Investing in Nigeria's Energy Sector
Chevron Nigeria Limited has reaffirmed its commitment to investing in Nigeria's energy sector as the country marks its 66th Independence Anniversary.
The company, led by Chairman and Managing Director Jim Swartz, said it remains confident in Nigeria and committed to working with the country to advance energy security, economic growth, and sustainable development.
Chevron has been contributing to Nigeria's development for over six decades through oil and gas production, deepwater investments, gas development, local content, human capacity development, and strategic community partnerships.
The company is expanding its assets through exploration, infill drilling, and production enhancement while supporting the Petroleum Industry Act 2021 and the Federal Government's efforts to strengthen Nigeria's regulatory framework and investment climate.
