Chevron Seeks to Boost Bangladesh's Energy Resilience Amid Gas Crisis
Chevron has been operating in Bangladesh for over three decades, investing $4.4 billion in the country's energy infrastructure and creating a workforce that is 98% Bangladeshi.
The company produces 60% of the country's domestic natural gas and 80% of its condensate, with assets that are consistently top tier for production efficiency globally.
Despite forecasts suggesting Bangladesh's own gas reserves will deplete around 2030-31, Chevron is working to maximize the value it can still draw from existing resources through technical and commercial means.
