Chevron Stock Near 52-Week High After Strong Q2 Earnings
Chevron stock has reached near its 52-week high and surpassed its 200-day simple moving average following a strong second quarter, according to CNN Markets and Zacks-related reporting.
The company reported revenue of $70.06 billion for the period ended June 2026, up 56.3% from a year earlier, while earnings per share came in at $6.06 versus $1.77 in the year-ago quarter.
The revenue and earnings beat expectations, with Yahoo Finance’s Singapore market page stating that reported revenue topped the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $57.53 billion by 21.78%, while EPS beat the consensus estimate of $5.80 by 4.48%.
Chevron's underlying operating metrics also showed strength, with U.S. Upstream net oil-equivalent production per day coming in at 2,077 millions of barrels of oil equivalent per day, compared to the four-analyst average estimate of 2,046.62 millions of barrels of oil equivalent per day.
