Chevron Wins Two Innovation Awards for Energy Projects in Thailand
Chevron Thailand Exploration and Production, Ltd has received two innovation awards at the SPE Thailand E&P Awards 2025/2026. The Total Wellhead Platform Reuse project was named the winner, while its Asset Retirement Factory project took second place.
The recognition is a testament to Chevron's commitment to technology and innovation in supporting energy development in the Gulf of Thailand. The Total Wellhead Platform Reuse project involves redeploying a wellhead platform in the Gulf of Thailand. This approach aims to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and decrease carbon intensity. The Asset Retirement Factory project is a systematic operating model for managing the retirement and removal of petroleum facilities.
