Hunter Biden and California Governor Gavin Newsom have criticized Chevron Corp. (NYSE:CVX) for its massive profits from the Iran war.

Biden shared a screenshot on X, showing that Chevron's profits rose by 400% to $12 billion in the year-over-year comparison, while ExxonMobil Holdings Corp. (NYSE:XOM) reported a profit of $14.5 billion.

'You paid for all of it at the pump,' Biden said, adding 'Say what you want about Trump. He's making something great again. And who's more deserving than Big Oil.'

Gavin Newsom's office responded to Biden's post, saying Chevron is 'raking in historic profits with blood money thanks to Trump's Iran war.'
