Samsung Electro-Mechanics is speeding up the construction of its third multilayer ceramic capacitor (MLCC) plant in the Philippines, aiming to meet demand for high-capacity components used in AI accelerators.

The new facility will serve as a dedicated production site for AI MLCCs to be mounted on Nvidia's next-generation accelerators, 'Vera Rubin' and 'Feynman.'

The company has secured advance orders from around 10 clients, including top-tier hyperscalers, through long-term supply agreements.
