Chicago Fantasy Football Player Forced to Channel Hungry Caterpillar
A fantasy football league in Chicago took an unusual approach to punishing its loser. Instead of sitting through another game, or worse, John was tasked with dressing up as a caterpillar from Eric Carle's children's book 'The Very Hungry Caterpillar'.
According to the story, the caterpillar consumes a lengthy list of foods before transforming into a butterfly. To replicate this, John had to eat a variety of items, including apples, pears, plums, strawberries, oranges, chocolate cake, ice cream, pickles, cheese, salami, lollipops, cherry pie, sausage, cupcakes, and watermelon.
A special mention goes to John's wife, who captured the moment on TikTok. The video has some NSFW language, but it showcases John's willingness to take his punishment seriously.
It's worth noting that this was not a one-time idea, as many fantasy football leagues come up with creative punishments each year.
