Chrome User Discovers Power of Site Search Feature
A long-time user of Google Chrome browser has found a way to supercharge its URL bar and improve web browsing experience. The user spent over 15 years using Chrome without discovering the power of Site search feature, which allows users to quickly access content within specific websites.
The user discovered that by setting up custom site searches in Chrome's settings, they could directly access specific pages on their favorite websites. For example, if they wanted to watch Test cricket videos on YouTube, they could type 'Test cricket videos' in the URL bar and press Enter, and the browser would open the YouTube search results page with relevant videos.
The user found that setting up custom site searches for every website they frequently visit was worth the effort. They set up five such custom site searches and reported a significant improvement in their web browsing experience.
