Cibc World Market Invests Heavily in Travelers Companies

Cibc World Market Inc. recently acquired a new stake in The Travelers Companies, Inc. (NYSE: TRV), purchasing 127,400 shares valued at approximately $28,090,000.

This is not the only institutional investment in TRV, as other investors such as Arbejdsmarkedets Tillaegspension and UBS Group AG have also increased their stakes in the company during the fourth quarter.

The Travelers Companies reported a strong quarterly earnings beat on July 17th, with EPS of $10.04 surpassing analysts' expectations by $4.63. The company's revenue for the quarter was up 0.3% year-over-year.
