Cink Wins Boeing Classic, Sets New Record for PGA TOUR Champions
Stewart Cink is dominating the PGA TOUR Champions season in 2026. He won the Boeing Classic, capturing his fifth title of the year, and became the first player to reach this milestone since Steve Stricker in 2023.
Cink's victory was not a given, as he began the final round four shots back and tied for 10th. However, he fired a 7-under 65 on Sunday, making eight birdies against just one bogey, to post 12-under 204.
Miguel Angel Jiménez nearly stole the show, closing with an 8-under 64 and playing the back nine in an incredible 8-under 28. He birdied his final six holes and set a tournament nine-hole scoring record while forcing the playoff.
Cink finished the job with a birdie on the first playoff hole at No. 18, securing his fifth win of the season. This achievement is particularly impressive given that Cink has only played 14 events this year.
