Cisco and Azerbaijan Explore Cooperation in Digital Transformation

Azerbaijan and Cisco have been discussing potential cooperation in digital transformation and innovation. According to Minister of Digital Development and Transport Rashad Nabiyev, the two sides explored opportunities for joint research and innovation projects.

The meeting between Minister Nabiyev and Adele Trombetta, Vice President and General Manager for Customer Experience at Cisco across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA), also touched on the establishment of a regional center, including a Cisco Academy.

This would allow for the training of qualified specialists with advanced digital skills. The meeting covered various areas of potential cooperation, including modernization of telecommunications infrastructure, data center and Government Cloud development, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence.
