Cisco and Nvidia Unite for Safer and Faster AI Infrastructure
Cisco and Nvidia have joined forces to make AI infrastructure faster and safer for companies to deploy. The partnership brings together Cisco's Secure AI Factory with Nvidia's technology, including Supermicro's high-density servers, to build stronger rack-scale AI setups that can handle large model demands.
The setup uses Cisco's Silicon One switches at the front and Nvidia's Spectrum-X switches at the back, all tied together through Cisco's Nexus One system. This creates a unified network built to run very large AI clusters. The partnership also adds stronger security tools, including defenses made for AI workloads and support for Nvidia's agent platform.
The deal is expected to cut risk by pairing Cisco's global supply chain strength with Supermicro's server expertise, helping customers avoid delays caused by GPU and memory shortages. Additionally, new validation services will speed up deployment, allowing customers to manage AI and non-AI workloads together with familiar tools.
