JPMorgan Poaches Citigroup's McDow for Tech Investment Banking Role
JPMorgan Chase has hired Dan McDow from Citigroup to lead its east coast technology investment banking business, according to an internal memo seen by Reuters.
McDow will join JPMorgan in New York later this year, having spent the past four years as Citi's global head of software investment banking. He has a two-decade career in investment banking, with much of his experience coming from Credit Suisse.
This move is part of JPMorgan's ongoing efforts to strengthen its technology investment bank, which is seeing increased deal-making activity due to recovering valuations within the software space and growth in the artificial intelligence ecosystem.
