Cisco and Supermicro Join Forces for Integrated AI Infrastructure
Cisco Systems Inc. is further expanding its push into enterprise AI infrastructure by partnering with Supermicro to create a more integrated solution for organizations deploying massive AI clusters.
The alliance combines Cisco's networking and security expertise with Supermicro's range of liquid and air-cooled systems, including dense GPU configurations for demanding AI tasks.
This collaboration will aid newer Nvidia platforms such as the Vera Rubin NVL72 and HGX Rubin NVL8, where cooling and rack density are more critical. For Cisco, this partnership offers another method to capture spending as corporations roll out private AI infrastructure.
