Cisco Becomes Official Technology Partner of Oak View Group Venues
Oak View Group has partnered with Cisco to standardize networking infrastructure across its venues. The deal, aimed at building an AI-ready technology foundation, makes Cisco the official technology partner of OVG's venue network.
The partnership covers five OVG-managed arenas: Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, UBS Arena in New York, Moody Center in Austin, Acrisure Arena in Palm Desert, California, and CFG Bank Arena in Baltimore. Three of these venues already use Cisco systems, while two will be upgraded with Cisco technology over the course of the partnership.
Katee LaPoff, OVG Chief Technology Officer, said the goal is to improve consistency and reliability for teams, talent, and guests across the company's venues. Anne Ristau, Cisco's Head of Global Sponsorships, noted that the company aims to provide a secure and scalable technology backbone for OVG's global venue network.
