Cisco Brings Sovereign Critical Infrastructure to Canadian Organizations
Cisco has launched its Sovereign Critical Infrastructure portfolio in Canada to help organizations control their digital infrastructure. The move comes after sustained customer demand, following a successful launch in EMEA in September 2025.
The portfolio spans networking, security, compute, collaboration and management application, enhanced by Splunk's security and observability capabilities. It allows customers to manage critical systems themselves, with more choice than before.
Licensing across the Sovereign Critical Infrastructure portfolio is trust-based: products don't need to connect to the cloud or to Cisco to operate. Customers also decide which workloads run on Sovereign Critical Infrastructure, and which don't.
Cisco has invested over $325 million CAD annually through its six Canadian development sites. The company aims to close skills gaps with its Networking Academy Program, which has benefited over 450,000 students in Canada.
