Cisco, NVIDIA Team Up with Supermicro on Rack-Scale AI Systems

Cisco and NVIDIA have partnered to bring AI capabilities to Supermicro's rack-scale systems starting in October.

The collaboration will see Cisco's Nexus 9000 series switches integrated with NVIDIA's BlueField data processing units (DPUs) and A100 Tensor Core GPUs, creating a powerful AI platform for enterprise customers.

Supermicro will provide the underlying hardware infrastructure, allowing customers to deploy rack-scale systems that can efficiently process and analyze large amounts of data in real-time.
