Cisco Offers Free Learning Paths for Network Engineers to Boost AI Skills

Cisco is offering two free learning paths for network engineers to enhance their skills in AI infrastructure and operations. The 'Rev Up to Recert: Stack' program provides up to 15 Continuing Education (CE) credits, available from August 24 through October 8, 2026.

The first learning path, 'Designing Cisco UCS-X Series for AI,' focuses on building the supporting infrastructure for AI workloads. It covers designing and operationalizing the UCS-X chassis, including GPU options and sizing, as well as automating deployments and configuration using Cisco Intersight Automation. This course offers 9 CE credits and takes approximately 9 hours and 21 minutes to complete.

The second learning path, 'Cisco Splunk AI Operations,' explores how to use Splunk's AI capabilities to make sense of logging and telemetry data. The course covers AIOps fundamentals, preprocessing and normalizing data, building governance frameworks, and using Splunk's Machine Learning Toolkit. This course offers 6 CE credits and takes approximately 7 hours and 53 minutes to complete.

Cisco emphasizes that these learning paths are not a linear journey and can be chosen based on individual job roles or career goals. The company encourages network engineers to 'work smarter, not harder' by leveraging AI infrastructure and operations.
