Cisco Taps Experienced Leader Ossama Eldeeb for Key Africa Role

Cisco has appointed Ossama Eldeeb as its new Managing Director for Africa. In this role, he will be responsible for leading Cisco's commercial strategy and operations across the continent, working closely with customers, governments, and technology partners to accelerate digital transformation.

Eldeeb brings over 26 years of leadership experience in the Middle East and Africa to his new position. He joined Cisco in March 2023 as Regional Director of its Partner Organisation for the Middle East and Africa, and later expanded his role to include Türkiye, Romania, and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).

Cisco credits Eldeeb with leading partner transformation initiatives, expanding managed services, and accelerating regional growth. Prior to joining Cisco, he held senior leadership positions at VMware, Microsoft, and AMD.
