Cisco has launched new advancements to its Splunk AI platform aimed at helping enterprises securely adopt and scale AI. The company has partnered with Nvidia to enable on-premises Splunk AI deployment via the newly introduced Cisco AI POD for Splunk.

The solution combines Cisco infrastructure, Nvidia accelerated computing, a new AI runtime, and Kubernetes-based architecture, all pre-validated for Splunk AI workloads. This enables enterprise customers to deploy Splunk AI features directly in their own data centers, private clouds, or air-gapped environments.

Cisco president and chief product officer Jeetu Patel said: 'One of the biggest roadblocks to enterprise AI today is that it's too hard to deploy.' He noted that customers want to know if they can trust AI, afford it, and secure it. By running Splunk AI on trusted infrastructure, customers can move faster to put AI to work in their business with confidence and control.
