Cisco Unveils AI-Driven Routing Inference and Nationwide Cloud Management

Cisco Systems, Inc. has made significant strides in advancing AI and sustainability. The company has implemented intelligent routers that route inference to open-weight, automated software or foundation models hosted on its GPU data centers.

This innovation allows for more efficient processing of complex tasks and reduces the environmental impact associated with traditional computing methods. Furthermore, Cisco's Circular Design Program aims to minimize material use in product design and packaging, exemplified by the redesigned Webex Room Bar that has saved approximately 32,000 pounds of material per year.

Cisco has also launched its cloud management platform, Cisco Cloud Control, nationwide for U.S. customers. This move marks a significant expansion of the company's cloud offerings and is expected to enable greater scalability and flexibility for businesses.
