Ciscomani Secures Funding for Southern Arizona Education and Workforce Projects
Congressman Juan Ciscomani is highlighting his efforts to invest in education and workforce development in Southern Arizona as students prepare for the new school year. He has secured preliminary funding for several projects that will strengthen the local workforce and create new opportunities for students.
One of these investments is for Pima JTED's Workforce Training Center for Technological Innovation, a 50,000-square-foot facility that will expand career and technical education opportunities for over 500 additional students each year. The center will prepare students for high-demand careers in skilled trades, engineering, robotics, semiconductor manufacturing, mining, and other critical industries.
Congressman Ciscomani also secured funding for Pima Community College's Project Catalyst, an initiative that will modernize engineering classrooms, expand access to STEM education, and strengthen workforce training programs. These investments reflect his commitment to expanding educational opportunities and building pathways to economic success.
