Citi has forecast that Apple's upcoming iPhone 18 lineup will feature a foldable model called the iPhone Ultra, which is expected to cost above $2,000. This would make it one of the most expensive iPhones ever produced by the company.

The new iPhone 18 models are set to launch on September 9, led by the iPhone Ultra, which is Apple's first foldable device. Pro models could be priced around $200 more than their predecessors, with upgrades including A20 2nm chips, Apple-designed modems, and improved cameras.

Citi also predicts that the iPhone 18 lineup will ship a total of 246 million units this year, with 61.8 million of those shipments occurring in the second half of 2026. The key suppliers for these devices are Foxconn, TSMC, Samsung Display, and LG Innotek.
