Russian drones struck near Kyiv, hitting and damaging a Coca-Cola plant in Brovary, according to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. This attack comes as a signal to America because Coca-Cola is a US-owned company, said Zelenskyy.

The strike occurred during a time of relative optimism for a peace deal between Russia and Ukraine. Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that there is still a chance for a peace agreement, while also acknowledging the efforts of US negotiators to broker a deal.

Zelenskyy announced that US negotiators would soon visit both Kyiv and Moscow in an effort to facilitate the peace talks.
