City Bank Launches New Premium Credit Card in Partnership with American Express
City Bank has launched its new premium credit card in partnership with American Express. The City Bank American Express Ultramarine Credit Card offers a range of benefits for customers, including travel and lifestyle perks. Primary card members can enjoy complimentary access to airport lounges both domestically and internationally, as well as up to two guest visits. They also receive 12 free Priority Pass lounge visits per year at selected airports worldwide.
The card also features no cash withdrawal fee on international ATM transactions, a meet-and-greet service for primary card members at the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport, and savings on international air tickets and domestic hotels. Cardholders can earn rewards points for every Tk 100 spent or USD 1 spent, which can be redeemed for gift vouchers, annual fee waivers, and purchases with points.
The card is available in both secured and unsecured variants and will support local and international spending. The application process opens on October 1, 2026. According to Hossain Khaled, chairman of City Bank, the new credit card reflects the bank's focus on providing thoughtfully designed financial solutions that meet the evolving needs of customers.
