Kevin Simpson, founder and CIO of Capital Wealth Planning, chose Amazon.com (NASDAQ:AMZN) after the company announced it increased its investment in northwest Louisiana to $18 billion from $12 billion. The expansion includes a third data center campus in Shreveport.
Bryn Talkington, managing partner of Requisite Capital Management, named iShares Bitcoin Trust ETF (NASDAQ:IBIT) as her final trade. Liz Thomas, SoFi head of investment strategy, recommended iShares Gold Trust (NYSE:IAU). Joseph M. Terranova, senior managing director for Virtus Investment Partners, picked Target Corporation (NYSE:TGT).
Target reported better-than-expected earnings for the second quarter, beating analyst estimates with quarterly earnings of $2.46 per share and sales of $26.539 billion.
