Coca-Cola and Coles revive Golden Can promotion for Australian shoppers
The Golden Can promotion is back in Australia, offering shoppers another chance to win big. Coca-Cola and Coles have reintroduced the campaign, which starts on 30 September in stores and online. Customers can find one of 300 Golden Cans hidden in specially marked 30-packs of Coca-Cola Classic, Coca-Cola Zero Sugar, or Diet Coke. Each Golden Can comes with 200,000 Flybuys points, worth around $1000 off a shop.
Luke Stockhill, general manager grocery at Coles, expressed excitement about the promotion, highlighting its ability to add value to customers' shopping experiences. The campaign aims to bring excitement and rewards to everyday shopping, combining the thrill of discovery with meaningful savings.
Tobias Hoogewerff, vice-president, At Home at Coca-Cola Europacific Partners Australia, emphasized the importance of creating value for consumers. He noted that the Golden Can campaign aligns with trends in consumer behavior, where experience, engagement, and loyalty play crucial roles in purchasing decisions.
The promotion will run until 11:59pm AEDT on 31 January 2027 and will be supported by a comprehensive omnichannel marketing campaign. This includes in-store activations, digital media, social content, and retail point-of-sale materials to engage shoppers across Australia.
