Coca-Cola and PepsiCo Discontinue Beloved Snacks Amid Portfolio Reductions
Major food and beverage manufacturers are discontinuing popular snacks and grocery items in 2026. Coca-Cola is ending its Minute Maid frozen juice concentrate line, which includes frozen orange juice, lemonade, and limeade options, after an 80-year presence in the frozen-can category.
PepsiCo plans to eliminate nearly 20% of its U.S. product offerings, focusing on items with simpler ingredients and functional consumer benefits.
Affected PepsiCo products include Cheese Pizza Cheetos Puffs, Lay's Sweet Potato Poppables, Blue Bell's Butter Crunch ice cream, and Smartfood's Movie Theater Butter Popcorn.
Remaining stock of these items is expected to deplete as retailers clear out inventories throughout the year.
