Coca-Cola Campaign Aims to Reclaim Shared Meal Moments
Coca-Cola has launched 'The World Will Wait' campaign, which encourages people to set aside distractions and be present during shared meals. The campaign features two new films that use surreal humor to depict individuals who are physically present but mentally preoccupied with work. In the first film, 'The Dentist', a young man is distracted by his job at a dental clinic while having hot pot with his girlfriend. Sharing a Coca-Cola brings him back to the moment.
The second film, 'The Cable Guy', shows a utility worker who imagines himself working while dining with his daughter. Again, sharing a Coca-Cola helps him refocus on the present. The campaign is part of Coca-Cola's broader global platform that aims to foster meaningful connections and reclaim shared meal moments from modern distractions.
'Shared meals have an important place in everyday life in Thailand,' said Kitisak Manoratana, senior marketing director at Coca-Cola Thailand. 'Through ‘The World Will Wait’, Coca-Cola is encouraging people to pause, be present and rediscover the simple joy of enjoying food with the people who matter.'
