Coca-Cola Christmas in the Park Brings Fresh Kiwi Talent to NZ This Summer
Coca-Cola Christmas in the Park returns to New Zealand this summer with fresh Kiwi talent taking center stage. The event will feature new performers alongside familiar faces at Hagley Park in Christchurch and Auckland Domain.
Twelve-year-old Cleo Fitzgerald from Christchurch is a standout performer who has been selected to perform at both events after impressing the creative team through auditions. She previously performed at last year's Christchurch show and has continued to develop her skills since then, according to Creative Director Dixon Nacey.
Auckland audiences will also be introduced to Ellaphon Tauariki, a powerhouse recording artist who made a significant impression on producers during the audition process. 'He absolutely blew us away,' says Nacey. 'He's an extraordinarily talented young artist, and we have no doubt Auckland audiences will be amazed by what he brings to the stage.'
The event will also feature More FM breakfast club host Simon Barnett as MC alongside Lana Searle, continuing a connection with the event that stretches back to its first show in 1994. Funds raised through this year's events will support Kindness Collective, the official charity of Coca-Cola Christmas in the Park.
